Tunica Mississippi Competitions – April 2014

The 2014 Nationals and the South Central Regional shoots were a huge success! Both were run like a well oiled machine. Many thanks to all the volunteers that helped out with these events. Special thanks to the CMSA for making your neighbors to the North feel so welcome at these competitions.

Congratulations to all the 300+ competitors! Special mention to our SCMSA members that made the 5,200 KM round trip to be a part of the Tunica competitions. Everyone had a great time and showed very well.

South Central Regional (full classes, ~200 shooters):

Roberta L1 1st  Cheyenne L1 2nd, Jaelyn L1 7th. Gary M1 2nd, Cain M2 1st, Cathy SL1 2nd, Bob SM1 6th.

Revolver Results for the South Central Regional

Jeffers U.S. National Championship (full classes, ~300 shooters):

Roberta and Gary took home L1 and M1 U.S. National Championship buckles, Cheyenne ended up catching a cheque for L1 3rd and a clean shooter cheque. Jaelynn took 11th in L1, Cain scored a cheque in the Double Down, ended up 3rd in M2 (real tough class!), the split between 1,2&3 was just hundredths of a second. Cathy was 2nd in SL2.  and Bob took 11th in SM1


Thanks to all our friends, family and extended mounted shooting family for all the support. Special thanks to Cain Quam for taking us all where we needed to be to find success.
